If a voltage rating of 50 V is specified on the print, a replace-ment capacitor for C 1 should have a value of 3300 microfarads and a minimum voltage rating of 50 volts. A 100-volt capacitor would be acceptable as a replacement, but a 25-volt capacitor wouldn’t. In the case of the transformer, the voltage listed refers to the secondary voltage.
