THE Liquorland Marlin & Tuna Tournament ended with another day being washed out but the weather-affected event did produce one rare catch and an interesting discovery. The top prize of $10,000 for the heaviest marlin or tuna (weight doubled) went to Gisborne’s Josh Whitley, who reeled in a 191-kilogram black marln from his boat 38 South.
