AirLink 80001/30/00BASE TRANSCEIVER STATIONRelease - 12BASE TRANSCEIVER OVERVIEWThe base TRANSCEIVER STATION (BTS) consists of a single rack or cabinet that houses the necessaryelements for a point to multi-point RF communication network. A single BTS may contain 1 or 2 RadioBase Units (RBUs). Each RBU contains all necessary Transmit/Receive equipment required for theoperation of a single sector or cell. A modular design provides for multiple co-located architecture of the system is flexible, and can accommodate small or large numbers of subscribers.
