A GASKET s main function is to provide a robust seal of a gas or a liquid throughout the life of the APPLICATION . The GASKET compensates for the imperfections between the mating surfaces to be sealed. This is done by utilizing external forces to compress the GASKET MATERIAL into the imperfections between the mating surfaces.
