This guide has evolved over time and has been shaped by the lives it has touched: Be A Mentor training facilitators, by the volunteers who have been trained, and by the youth we are honored to serve. The primary objectives of the initial Mentor training are to confirm the commitment of the Mentor , establish the basic parameters of the Program , and to begin to prepare the mentors for the realities of the mentoring experience.
