As we work together towards another great year, I keep looking back in the archives to see what was going on during our first year: In May 1968, the Tampa Tribune tells us that General Eisenhower was recovering from his 4th heart attack; Dr. Evelyn Bruton s home in Winter Haven was partially swallowed by a sinkhole; 1400 high school students in Ohio were suspended for participating in sit-ins to protest disciplinary actions taken against fellow stu-dents; Kane s Furniture was offering a 5 piece dinette set for $ Some things have changed drastically, others not so much.
