Computer programs produce results by manipulating data. Elements are added to this object with the Add method, as in intArray.Add(nextOne); Perl and JavaScript also support heap-dynamic arrays. For example, in Perl we could create an array of five numbers with @list = {1, 2, 4, 7, 10); Later, the array could be lengthened with the push function, as in push(@list, 13, 17);
