Chapter 9: Learning and human resource development HRM in Practice BNY Mellon and advanced apprenticeships BNY Mellon a global financial services company based in Manchester has developed an Advanced Apprenticeship scheme in collaboration with The National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS). One result for three quarters of those that participated in the scheme has been promotion to more senior roles. The programme also helps create high staff satisfaction. In addition, 90 per cent of those completing the scheme are still working with the company, four years after the programme began.
