An Evaluability Assessment calls for the early review of a proposed project or programme in order to ascertain whether its objectives are adequately defined and its results verifiable. Purpose The overall purpose of an Evaluability Assessment is to decide whether an evaluation is worthwhile in terms of its likely benefits, consequences and costs. Also, the purpose is to decide whether a programme needs to be modified, whether it should go ahead or be stopped.
