1Initial Security Briefing NISPOM Briefing Requirements The NISPOM requires that contractors provide cleared employees with an Initial Security Briefing prior to their being permitted access to classified information. Employees are also required to complete the Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement Standard Form 312 (SF 312) before they may gain access to classified information. NISPOM (3-106) lists various subject areas to be covered in the Initial Briefing , but these should be considered a minimum requirement. The Initial Security Briefing has five parts: 1.
