Over the years, SBM Offshore has supplied various types of mooring systems, but the most common mooring point remains the Catenary Anchor Leg mooring (CALM) system. Other mooring points like the single Anchor Leg mooring (SALM) and the Fixed Tower single Point mooring are supplied for applications that are more specific. mooring systems like the Exposed Location single Buoy mooring (ELSBM), the Floating Loading Platform (FLP) and the Articulated Loading Platforms (ALP) were supplied for typical North Sea type conditions. All weathervaning mooring systems require a product swivel to bridge the gap between the stationary mooring and the rotating parts.
