Purpose. This Circular prescribes policy and provides PROCEDURES for Global Information Grid (GIG) technical control. 2. Applicability. This Circular applies to the defense Information Systems agency (DISA), military departm ents (MILDEP5), other activities of the Department of Defens e (DOD). or governmental agencies, and contractors responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the GIG. 3.
