INTRODUCTION This Test PREPARATION Kit has been distributed by the NYPD to assist you in preparing for the upcoming New York City Police Officer s Entrance Exam. This booklet is provided as a review of standard test-taking techniques and questions commonly used in law enforcement civil service examinations. The written examination is multiple choice test and may include questions that require the use of several ability areas . This booklet contains definitions and sample questions of these ability areas . Included in the instructions are certain time restraints.
