position : Senior Logistics Specialist Location: Aberdeen, MD Clearance: TS required position Overview: The Senior Logistics Specialist position is able to support and advise the Product Manager Meteorological and Target Identification Capabilities (PM MaTIC) on aerostat operations, general programmatics, and serves as a technical advisor in support of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. Responsibilities: Define plans, programs, procedures, and various operational issues that are critical to the PdM systems to accomplish their mission. Resolve technical issues using Logistics processes, standards, systems, and/or reporting tools. Provide expertise and recommendations in aerostat logistic operations that includes but is not limited to: safety considerations and certifications; development and vetting of logistic support in OCONUS environments.
Perform logistics analysis on similar large-scale platforms to determine areas and efforts for potential logistical improvements if the two systems were to be managed together
