Although there is no single method for SOLVING all types of problems encountered in this course, the method known as DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS or the unit-factor method involves PROBLEM SOLVING techniques that can be applied to many different types of problems. To illustrate this type of PROBLEM SOLVING , problems involving metric conversions will be used.
