This TOOLKIT is based on published guidelines and the experiences of the facili- ties that participated in the GNYHA/UHF C. DIFFICILE Collaborative. The strate- gies, recommendations, and tools included are intended to provide a basic framework that can be customized to meet the needs of individual institutions regardless of size, academic teaching status, staffing model, patient popula- tion, or available resources. Although each institution faces unique challenges, this TOOLKIT is designed to provide individual institutions with a general guide to improve infection prevention practices.
