Step 4: Select the Chain Pitch. From the Quick Selector Chart on page 234, make a tentative chain selection as follows: a)Locate the design horsepower calculated in Step 3 on the vertical axis by reading up the strand columns (single, double, etc.) in order until the design horsepower is located.
