superworm ! Starfish Spring 2 English (Literacy) We will read a range of books about minibeasts including the poetry book Mad about Minibeasts and Incy Wincy Spider poetry. We will also look at information books and the adventure story of superworm by Julia Donaldson. Most children will be writing simple sentences by carefully sounding out words containing Phase 3 phonics (sh, ng, th, ai, ee, igh, oa). Maths (Mathematics) We will cover aspects of position and direction, addition and subtraction, length and weight. The children will become more confident to recognise the place value of numbers to 20.
