Theyoccur sporadically in all breeds ofbeef and dairy cattle, and there maybe a hereditary predisposition insome breeds. Interdigital hyperplasiain multiple feet of young animalsshould be suspected to be hereditaryin nature. PathogenesisInterdigital hyperplasia is formed byhyperplastic interdigital skin.
