The 11-14 6.7L engines use a “fuel delivery pressure switch” to monitor fuel supply pressure and to warn the driver if the pressure drops below a threshold. This helps to protect the CP4 high pressure pump, which is susceptible to damage from a lack of fuel supply pressure. It is a normally closed switch that monitors the fuel delivery system
