005 bargaining unit negotiations agreement summary The UPE 005 Bargaining unit reached an Agreement on March 13, 2014 with the Sacramento County Bargaining Representatives over the contract language, wages, and conditions of employment. The contract is a 5 year contract to be effective for July 1, 2013 and shall remain in full force and effect up to and including June 30, 2018. It is important to note that the Agreement must be ratified by a majority of the 005 membership and approved by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Below are the items that were the remaining issues of concern: 1. Article Term This article was amended to reflect the new dates for this contract. July 1, 2013 thru June 30, 2018. 2. Health Care Reopener (New Section) - Allows for the County to reopen the contract onetime between January 1, 2015 thru December 31, 2016 for the purpose of entering into Negotiations over health benefit changes.
