SECTION 02601 Water PIPESTANDARD specification CIVIL ENGINEERINGWATER PIPEPROJECTS AND SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENTSPage 02601 -1 December 2003 PART 1 DESCRIPTIONA. The WORK under this Section includes providing all labor, materials, tools andequipment necessary for furnishing and installing buried Water pipe and fittings, thrustblocks, tie rods, electrical continuity, disinfection and testing. The CONTRACTOR shallinstall the Water pipe and fittings to the horizontal and vertical alignment shown on theDrawings and shall complete all associated WORK described in this SUBMITTALSA. Water pipe : Material 2 PIPEA. Water pipe shall be ductile-iron pipe (DIP) conforming to the requirements of AWWAC151, with cement mortar lining conforming to the requirements of AWWA Thickness Class 50 pipe shall be used unless otherwise shown on the pipe shall have an exterior bituminous coating conforming to the requirements ofAWWA C110.
