The geoprofessional s role is to provide geotechnical recommendations for the design, construction, and maintenance of Embankments that are practical, cost-effective, constructible, and value driven. Our clients are primarily district design units to which we provide both planning and design recommendations. District design units submit work requests to GS that should include the following information: Plan sheets with embankment area(s); Cross-sections (typically at 50-foot to 100-foot intervals, more or less depending upon topography, etc.)
