Hampton Roads Crossing Study EA Re-evaluation of the SEIS. Welcome . Background: The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) issued a Record of Decision (ROD) for the Hampton Roads Crossing Study (HRCS) in June 2017 identifying Alternative A as the Selected Action. Since that time, the Selected Action (Alternative A) has been re ned: High-Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes have been identi ed as the management option for the I-64 corridor and an un-developed area on the Willoughby Spit has been added to the project for a staging area. The Environmental Assessment Re-evaluation focuses on the environmental impacts of those re nements. The goals of this meeting are: To present the ndings of the Environmental Assessment Re-evaluation. To obtain your input on the environmental issues related to the proposed improvements presented in the Re-evaluation. vPlease use this opportunity to ask VDOT representatives questions and discuss the results of the Re-evaluation.
