C t Gold Project Amended EIS / Final Environmental Assessment Report January 2015 Project #TC121522 Page 10-1 MITIGATION MEASURES MITIGATION MEASURES proposed herein are the result of an iterative process that took place between the environmental effects prediction and the engineering design teams. Based on preliminary environmental effects results, further MITIGATION MEASURES were incorporated into the design of the Project to ensure the protection of the physical, biological and human environments. Objectives The proposed MITIGATION MEASURES provide the basis for the development of environmental management plans and monitoring programs for the Project, required to meet Federal and Provincial environmental approval and permitting requirements and conditions as well as IAMGOLD policies of environmental compliance.
