12 Volt Refrigeration Systems - Ocean Options
SEA FROSTSea Frost s line of BD Direct Evaporator Systems (BD, BDxp and BDxpx subzero freezingunit) feature anadvanced design that operates on 12- or 24- volt power. They are perfect forwell insulated refrigerator boxes. The Systems consist of two components a remotely located compressorand rugged, half-inch thick polished stainless steel cold plate(s) connected by pre-charged copper lines. These plates offer the highest resistance to damage and corrosion and can bemounted on a shelf, wall or ceiling. Water-cooled units are also fitted with a remote water pump. Optionalice-making trays are available for wall-mounted Systems are factory pre-charged and require no special tools for installation.
All BD systems feature ducted air cooling. The four-inch round intake vent is ducted to the cabin to allow the compressor to draw in ambient temperature air.
