2012 NC Plumbing code The changes below are to the 2009 International Plumbing code . These mark-ups will be adopted for the 2012 NC Plumbing code . Chapter 1 ADMINISTRATION Title. These regulations shall be known as the North Carolina Plumbing code as adopted by the North Carolina building code Council on September 14, 2010, to be effective September 1, 2011. References to the International Codes shall mean the North Carolina Codes. The North Carolina amendments to the International Codes are underlined. Appendices. Provisions in the appendices shall not apply unless specifically adopted or referenced in this code .
