Although in 2014, this growth has been significantly less than expected due to a reduction in the activity of the key main sectors of the economy such as mining, construction and manufacturing, there are many expectations regarding the possibilities of achieving improved figures in the next two years. Thus, the Banco Central de Reserva del Per (BCRP) and well known economic specialists, has forecast that GDP growth in 2015 and 2016 will achieve figures between 4% and 5%, terms of foreign trade, Peru is one of the most economically liberalized countries in the region. Additionally, it has a favorable climate for foreign investment. It is worth noting that 85% of exports are made under free trade agreements. Currently, similar agreements are being negotiated or studied with India, Indonesia and Turkey.
