10/10 (RN No. 10 - 45)1 finra Rule 4210(a)(4)(A)/01 2010 Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Margin Requirements (a) DefinitionsFor purposes of this Rule, the following terms shall have the meanings specified below:(1) The term basket shall mean a group of stocks that finra or any national securitiesexchange designates as eligible for execution in a single trade through its trading facilities andthat consists of stocks whose inclusion and relative representation in the group are determined bythe inclusion and relative representation of their current market prices in a widely disseminatedstock index reflecting the stock market as a whole.(2) The term current market value means the total cost or net proceeds of a security onthe day it was purchased or sold or at any other time the preceding business day s closing priceas shown by any regularly published reporting or quotation service, except for security futurescontracts (see paragraph (f)(10)(C)(ii)).
