Introduction This document identifies important Civil War Sites in Williamson County , Tennessee that have the potential to be saved, or in rare cases reclaimed, as Civil War Battlefield Parks. The idea is to establish a series of parks, some large, some small, at our important Civil War Sites that, together with Sites currently maintained by other historical groups, can collectively tell the Civil War history of Williamson County , and Middle Tennessee.
