Although it was designed primarily as a resource for National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) interested in translating instructional materials to support their training and professional development efforts, the general concepts are relevant to any agency or organization desiring to distribute information in other languages. Translation is a complex endeavor, requiring the active collaboration of multiple participants in order to produce a quality product.
