First, current trends relevant tointerdisciplinary practice are noted to emphasize its importance.
Components of Interdisciplinary Collaboration I used four theoretical frameworks in the develop-ment of the model, including a multidisciplinary theory of collaboration, services integration—the program development model discussed most fre-quently in conjunction with collaboration—role theory, and ecological systems theory.
