Some Aboriginal people have been disconnected from their traditional beliefs, while others are reclaiming their cultural ways and others have practiced their cultural traditions their entire lives. Some Aboriginal people do not feel safe to acknowledge their Aboriginal ancestry due to previous experiences in the health care system.
