About the ACCUPLACER Test The ACCUPLACER (Elementary Algebra) is a 12 question placement exam. Its purpose is to make sure you are put in the appropriate math course. A student whose score is 67 or higher will be placed in MATH 1111 (College Algebra) or MATH 1101 (Mathematical Modeling) A student whose score is 55 - 66 will be placed in MATH 1111 (College Algebra) and MATH 0999 (Support of College Algebra) or MATH 1101 (Mathematical Modeling) and MATH 0998 (Support of Mathematical Modeling) A student whose score is 32 54 will be placed in MATH 0989 (Foundations of College Algebra) or MATH 0988 (Foundations of Mathematical Modeling). A minimum score of 32 is required for admission into Atlanta Metropolitan State College.
