Advanced Biblical Exegesis 04OT512/1 Dr. Fesko Westminster Seminary California 1725 Bear Valley Parkway Escondido, CA 92027 Summer 2012 Course Description Emphasis will be placed upon OT-NT issues, particularly redemptive-historical consid-erations and covenant theology. Background hermeneutical issues will be covered, in-cluding the role of the interpreter and creeds/confessions. In addition, the course will in-clude a brief overview of the history of interpretation of the Bible from the early church to modern day. Finally, the class will explore the relationship between original meaning and modern meaning. Class Schedule Monday thru Friday We will take a one-hour break each day for Evaluation Final exam (worth 80% of final grade) Completion of all required reading (worth 10% of final grade).
