The AN/PRC-152 single-channel, Multiband handheld radioprovides the multimission capabilities needed by today swarfighter. It covers the frequency range of 30 to 512 MHzand provides an adjustable transmit output power up to 5 watts. With a JTRS architecture and SCA operatingenvironment, the AN/PRC-152 provides the optimaltransition to JTRS AN/PRC-152 supports SINCGARS, Havequick II,VHF/UHF AM & FM, High Performance Waveform (HPW),MIL-STD-188-181B, which provides Advanced NarrowbandDigital Voice Terminal (ANDVT) voice and up to 56 kbits/secdata. Both Havequick II and VHF/UHF AM & FM waveformsare ported versions of the preliminary JTRS librarywaveforms, validating the AN/PRC-152 s JTRS software upgrades include AES encryption and theAPCO 25 Land Mobile radio waveform to supportinteroperability with civil authorities (optional).
