Appendix C Amended Risk Assessment methodology from IAR (IAR App. H) The risk Assessment for the MWS is based on the framework contained in Ecological Risk Management Framework for the Irrigation Industry (Hart et al, 2005). This framework involves a number of key steps, outlined in Figure 1. Figure 1: Key steps in the Risk Assessment Framework for Irrigation (Hart et al, 2005) The Agreement between the Commonwealth and the State and the associated Terms of Reference (DEWHA, 2010a) requires a risk Assessment to be undertaken for the Midlands Water Scheme (MWS).
