appendix -IRevised Pay Structure and Fixation of pay in the Revised pay Structure :A Teacher/Librarian/Physical Education Personnel in College/ Universityshall draw pay in the Revised pay Structure applicable to the post to whichhe is appointed:Provided that he may elect to continue to draw pay in the existing scale untilthe date on which he earns his next or any subsequent increment in theexisting scale or until he vacates his post or ceases to draw pay in further that in case where he has been placed in a higher pay scalebetween and the date of issue of this order on account of promotion,upgradation of pay scale etc, he shall have option to elect to switch over to therevised pay Structure from the date of such promotion, upgradation, 1 The option to retain the existing scale shall be admissibleonly in respect of one existing 2 The aforesaid option shall not be admissible to any person appointed to a post on or after 1st day of January2006.
