The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers ( ASHRAE ) publishes guidelines for temperature and humidity operating ranges of IT equipment. This paper explains the temperature and humidity guidelines that ASHRAE recommends for IT equipment and how these guidelines might benefit data center operators.
