In the beginning ASP specialized in parts for European and Japanese vehicles that were not otherwise available to the locksmith market. In 1996 ASP expanded its range to include locks and parts manufactured by Hurd Lock and Manufacturing Inc., a subsidiary of Avis Industrial Co. Inc. Hurd products consisted primarily of original equipment replacements for Ford vehicles. ASP served as the master distributor for Hurd automoti ve lock products to the locksmith market.
