The qualitative study on the efficiency of anti-caking and antioxidant additives as long-term thermal stabilizers for polypropylene (PP) using ATR-FTIR SPECTROMETRY is reported. Different kinds of additives are used in polymeric materials both for processing, for long-term stabilization and to prevent deterioration of the plastics performance. ATR-FTIR technique is one of the most important spectrometric methods for the quantification and identification of oxidation process in polymeric materials.
