Attachment 1 of DHOG-7S3 BCU page 1 of 2 Revision: 10 3M Acrylic foam Tape 5673 Description 5673 is a 3M Acrylic foam Tape, grey foamed acrylic adhesive with additional acrylate adhesive on one side. Typical applications are attachments of add-on-parts such as trims and emblems/inserts on low energy surfaces without pre-treatment (Primer/ flame treatment). The tape is especially suitable for Polypropylene. 5673 demonstrates good adhesion to various Automotive surfaces, good inner strength, excellent long term stability as well as a very good adaptability to the areas adhered to. In combination with primer the tape achieves a good plasticiser resistance and assures a good adhesion to elastomeric add-on-parts. Based on the unique viscoelastic properties of 5673, stress is relaxed, so that a durable bond is built. A special liner version is available for converting and die cutting.
