Now, with the economy reviving, many institutionsexpanding again, and significant discussion of smaller branchfootprints taking hold, we found it an appropriate time toupdate the study. Seventy institutions joined the survey, both banks and credit unions, from all regions of the countryand spanning all asset tiers. Our findings follow.
