Standard Bid Evaluation Form Procurement of Goods or Works The World Bank April 1996 iii Preface This Standard Bid Evaluation Form has been prepared by the World Bank1 for use by its Borrowers and their implementing agencies in the Evaluation of bids, in accordance with the provisions of the Bank s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995, revised January and August 1996 and September 1997, referred to hereafter as Guidelines (see in particular para. and Appendix 1, subparas. 2 and 4 of the Guidelines). All loans and credits negotiated after March 15, 1995 are governed by the 1995 edition. This document is intended specifically for assisting in the Evaluation of bids procured through International Competitive Bidding (ICB), as well as through Limited International Bidding (LIB), whether subject to prior or post review.
