A. Microbial pesticides Microbial biopesticides represent an important op-tion for the management of plant diseases. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines biopesticides as, “certain types of pesticides derived from such natural materials as animals, plants, bacteria, and certain minerals.”
