For example, polycarbonate is used in eyeglass lenses, medical equipment, water bottles, digital media ( CDs and DVDs), cell phones, consumer electronics, computers and other business equipment, electrical equipment, household appliances, safety shields, construction glazing, sports safety equipment, and in automobiles.
