The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) implemented the regulation, Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens , contained in rule 29 Part of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); to help protect workers from the health hazards associated with occupational Exposure to pathogenic organisms present in blood and other body fluids.
