Brackets of Material Grade 30 are acceptable provided the shared joint is using a high nut. The area of the clip bracket under the bolt head must be a least as large as the bolt head itself. 2 Clips that scratch exterior mounting surfaces shall not be used (i.e., barbed/spring type) unless the material is non-corrod-ing (i.e., plastic).
