Recently through the Framework for Pacific Regionalism, Forum Leaders have reiterated the need for this collective ACTION to be adaptable, innovative and inclusive to ensure it continues to serve our geopolitical and development context of the Pacific is constantly changing and today the region faces a variety of external and internal forces that are influencing it. They include climate change, shifts in global power and globalisation, ocean management and conservation, rising inequality, advances in technology, economic and environmental uncertainty, and regional and global conflict.
