Farm power, sources and scope of mechanization, use of farm engines, power tillers and tractors on the farm, Agricultural equipment and machines for seed-bed preparation, seeding, intercultural, plant protection, harvesting and threshing. UNIT III. Soil and water conservation engineering; soil erosion- types; causes and control; soil conservation structures; irrigation wells; irrigation equipment including micro-irrigation.
